The Other Side
by Hell Or Highwater
The Songs on the album:
Moment of Clarity
The Other Side
Wrong
Remember The Life And Not The Death
Drowning In The Waves
So, when I saw this band at the Operation Kick Ass Festival in Chula Vista, I didn't expect much, since they were on the small stage and had a name I'd never once heard before. "I was wrong about you from the start." (from "Wrong" by HoH). I WAS wrong, these guys kicked ass!
The first time I listen to this EP I wasn't really thinking anything except how great their music was, but now as I listen to it for the, oh I don't know, 20th time, I (still think their music is great) realize how much they sound like Three Days Grace. This is definitely a good thing, too. HoH has more guitar solos and variation on lyrics in the songs then TDG, which only makes them better.
My favourite song on the EP is probably "Moment of Clarity" with "Drowning In The Waves" a close second. Their music is so high-quality and they have a musical skill that a lot of young bands do not possess. They are talented musicians and so much fun both to listen to and to rock out to in concert. They are adept at creating melodies and guitar riffs that are super catchy and easy to move around to that it becomes extremely difficult to turn off their music.
I would suggest checking out this band. They are amazing!
Go buy this album, you will not regret it.
