Flyleaf by Flyleaf
I had spent a lot of time in Wisconsin with my friends listening to pop music, and on the few occasions when I could play my music, I seized it eagerly. I often played Halestorm radio on Padora, which lead to lots of songs being played by Flyleaf. I was throroughly impressed. Later in the summer, I walked into the local record shop and found one of their albums for a cheap price and grabbed it earnestly.
My dad was pretty open to listening to a Halestorm-esque band, and upon hearing them, became as excited as I was by the discovery.

The songs on the album are:
I'm So Sick
Fully Alive
All Around Me
Sorrow
Cassie
There For You
This album is filled with the haunting vocals of Kristen May, who I view as a combination of Amy Lee, Lzzy Hale, and Bec Hollcraft.

A good friend of mine had a guardian who was in a band called We Float, which had vocals very much similar to Flyleaf's.
This band is super awesome and really worth looking into!
