Guess what TVM fans (Yes! I'm talking to all 4 of you!)? it's.....STORY TIME! Don't we all love my anecdotes that become rants on life values? I know I do :) So, I was rummaging around our local record shop looking for music, and found the last Motionless in White album left, which happened to be Infamous. So, I persuaded my mom for money, not really telling her that it was a screamo band's music purchase that she was so kindly financing. A few days later, I was listening to Infamous and doing my homework and my mom walked in with this look of absolute horror on her face, that looked to be saying something along the lines of "What the fuck are you listening to?" Of course, my excuse was that there was so much screaming that I wouldn't get distracted by the music by singing along since it's so difficult to discern the lyrics. She just shook her head. Being the thoughtful DJ that I am, I changed the music to a Linkin Park mix (Which of course had to start with "Bleed It Out," so my mom just raised her eyebrows and walked out).

I have become a huge fan of Motionless In White. I know, I know, screamo isn't the popular music and blah blah blah but it's just so freaking good I can't help but write about it. So, if you don't like screamo, that really sucks for you right now. Maybe I'll get out of this phase soon. But probably not :)

This album rocks. "America" is a great song, but that definitely isn't the only one. I really like "Black Damask" and "Burned At Both Ends." Of course, "Hatefuck" is always really fun. There's something about turning this band's music up to highest volume and drowning out life itself that truly is the best feeling ever. For me at least, when I'm listening to MIW I feel like all my stress is being yanked off my shoulders and this immense relief follows. I can just jump up and down and scream and release everything inside. This music isn't always the best, and I admit, sometimes it's a lot better to hear the lyrics, but this is just SO GOOD I can't help but rant about it. If you have the chance, go see this band in concert. That is a whole other ball park of stress relieving. It's one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Seriously.

Look forward to a new Album of the Week sometime in the next few months.
Sorry, high school has a lot of homework and I don't like it! I promise, I'd much rather be writing on TVM than reading Great Expectations but I don't really get to choose. :(
