LOST ELEMENT, YOUNG GUNS, AND 10 YEARS

Lost Element

Okay, well I'm guessing you have never heard of them. Well, guess what? Nobody has. They are a very small band on their very first tour. They are from Houston, Texas, and have released two albums, the second of which I purchased while at the concert (Return to Solitude). They astounded me by their music, I did not expect it to be that good. They could have used more of the stage, they barely moved from their original places. If you came to see people dance then you were disappointed, but if you came to hear good music you were delighted.

Young Guns

Wow. What a stage presence!!! That was great! Take heavy metal with British punk, and you've got our lovely Young Guns. There were dynamic and the lead singer had an aura that just rubbed off on the audience. They are touring all over the United States. They will be opening Bullet for My Valentine after the 10 Years tour, and will be playing in many of the big deal festivals. This was their very first Hollywood show and they were psyched. They definitely played that way, too.

Me and the Young Guns lead singer!

10 Years

This was definitely the best of all. The lead singer had intense charisma and was born to be a performer. We were right in the front, and there were no amplifiers for the singer on the stage, so we could barely hear his voice which is a bummer because his voice is beautiful. I officially saw the strangest encore of my life with this band. The lead singer came out and sang a cappella. The singer, being a very strange guy (which was very apparent due to his unique stage presence), sang pieces of his songs along with a song by John Prine with the most beautiful voice I've heard in a rock band (besides Affiance). This was a fantastic experience!
